Turning up to cheer on the hometown team in their Madison Square Garden season opener, Jessica Szohr and Ed Westwick were both on-hand for the NY Knicks/Portland Trailblazers game on Saturday night (October 30).
Making for quite the interesting situation, the "Gossip Girl" co-stars/former lovers chatted briefly with one another before parting ways to sit in separate sections of the arena.
Miss Szohr looked to be enjoying herself as she grabbed up a seat alongside her mystery date, also spending time chatting with fellow attendees Michael J.Fox and family.
Doing his best to ignore his former flame, Ed ended up sitting courtside as he downed a few beverages while watching the Knicks fall to the Trailblazers by a score of 100-95.

As Thailand continues to suffer from the worst floods to hit parts of the country in decades, many are volunteering or donating cash and supplies to help the millions of flood victims in the 36 affected provinces.
Over 55 people have died since the floods began two weeks ago. According to a report in The Nation, many southern Thai provinces are now at risk, as strong monsoon rains are forecast to fall over the region through to Sunday.

Britney Spears and Heather Morris on the set of "Glee"
Photo: FOX
From the Heather Morris-starring scene-for-scene video re-creations to the sight of Lea Michele as a sexy schoolgirl to the debut of John Stamos, this week's Britney Spears-themed episode of "Glee" has everyone talking. But it has us singing. Without further ado, here are the lyrics to this week's "Glee"-cap!
Britney
You took over this week's "Glee."
Oh, baby you can hit me
One or two more times.
But when you act,
It's all sorts of crazy wack,
It's so good to have you back,
Even though you look 39.
A full hour of hits that are yours,
But then Lea performed Paramore.
[Jim speaks: What the f--- was that about?]
Oh, Britney, take these kids on tour.
[Jim speaks: Seriously, Heather Morris did Britney better than Britney ever did Britney.
Clip: Santana says, "Leave Britney alone!"
Jim: Sorry!]
[To the tune of "... Baby One More Time"]
Oh, Stamos, Stamos,
How was I supposed to know
That you and "Glee" are besties?
Oh, Stamos, Stamos,
You're not singing "Kokomo."
No love for Uncle Jesse.
Mating with crazy eyes,
They're dating,
Schuester's fading,
Student's masturbating,
Oh, that's gross!
John Stamos has a dentist chair.
He gives "Glee" kids
So much sweet air.
When they go under,
They lose their mind.
Drugs are sublime!
Then it becomes Britney time!
[To the tune of "Everytime"]
Videos redone
Are so much fun,
But baby
Everytime "Glee" tributes
The plot falls by the wayside.
They just want you to buy
lots more soundtracks, baby.
"Glee" is structured like a porn.
They talk and then perform.
Scenes are shoehorned
Who needs story, baby?!
[Jim takes a hit of nitrous oxide, collapses.]

T.I. and Tameka "Tiny" Cottle
Photo: Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department
T.I.'s wife, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle, was charged with one misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance Friday (October 29), a spokesperson for the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office confirmed to MTV News.
The charge comes more than a month after Cottle and her husband, superstar rapper T.I. (born Clifford Harris), were picked up in Los Angeles for possession of Ecstasy. Cottle is due in court Monday, L.A. District Attorney's Office spokesperson Jane Robison said.
While it is up to a judge to determine Cottle's punishment, Robison said outpatient rehab in lieu of jail time can be a potential option in cases similar to the reality star's. However, a judge has to find Cottle eligible for that option.
A rep for Cottle did not respond to MTV News' request for comment at press time.
Cottle's new spouse was sentenced to 11 months in prison October 15 for probation violation. The jail time was handed down after the Atlanta rapper was found to have violated the terms of his supervised release. T.I., however, will not face charges stemming from the Los Angeles arrest. He's slated to start his prison sentence Monday.
Although T.I. has been keeping a fairly low profile as he prepares to return to prison, just months after he wrapped up a sentence for weapons charges, the past few weeks have been eventful. The MC lost endorsement deals from AXE and Rémy Martin, released a song with Chris Brown and helped save a man on the brink of suicide.
"I'm gonna take it a day at a time," T.I. said of his current situation during a radio interview last week. "I got a little while to plan. One thing I'm not gonna do is, I'm not gonna talk and make a whole lot of promises and do this or do that. I'm gonna speak more through my music and my actions. And I'm gonna let God lead me wherever that may be."

Downey compares them to other comedy teams ... like Ashford & Simpson.
By Kara Warner
Robert Downey Jr.
Photo: MTV News
In the upcoming film "Due Date," Robert Downey Jr. plays the straight man to the zany antics of Zach Galifianakis and a scene-stealing French bulldog named Honey (renamed Sonny by Galifianakis, we're told).
If you've seen the trailer, you know that Downey's character is trying to get home to his wife, who is going to have their baby very soon. Zach's character comes into the mix as an alternate mode of transport, which naturally turns out to be a cross-country road trip that destroys cars, friendships and nerves.
When MTV News caught up with one-half of this new comedic duo at the Los Angeles premiere of the film recently, we asked Downey to compare his two co-stars: Galifianakis and the French bulldog.
"Well, actually, Sonny is supposed to be a boy [and] is largely played by a female dog," the "Iron Man" star explained.
"Honey is her real name," Downey's wife Susan chimed in.
"Right. Honey is a bitch. Sonny is supposed to be this meat stick in the movie, so they pulled in a male dog, and that's how I think of Zach: He's kind of a hermaphrodite hound," Downey said with a smile.
Somehow, we imagine Galifianakis would take that assessment as a compliment. But where might he and the "Hangover" star rank among the great comedic duos in film history?
"I'll know a lot more in a couple hours, but I would say kind of Ashford & Simpson right now," Downey said. "We'll see if we get to Hope and Crosby."
Check out everything we've got on "Due Date."

Class at the University of South Carolina is called 'Lady Gaga and the Sociology of Fame.'
By Gil Kaufman

Fame is so hard to define these days. How does a star know when she's truly made it? Is it when the hosts of "Today" dress up as you for Halloween? When you reach 1 billion views on YouTube? Are multiplatinum album sales and sold-out tours still a good barometer?
Or does one only reach true icon status when a college professor decides that person is important enough to base a university-level course around?
If so, welcome to the club, Lady Gaga!
According to the New York Times, University of South Carolina sociology professor Mathieu Deflem is planning to offer a course next semester entitled "Lady Gaga and the Sociology of Fame."
Deflem plans to delve into what makes a person famous and what it means to be famous in today's society. "The central objective is to unravel some of the sociologically relevant dimensions of the fame of Lady Gaga," Deflem states in the course description for the class, which he says is the first of its kind in the nation.
Deflem said that after being smitten with Gaga during a "Tonight" appearance last January, he attended a concert of hers in Atlanta and went on to catch 28 Gaga shows all over the globe. He's since become a superfan, collecting more than 300 CDs and records and launching the fan site gagafrontrow.net.
He's also met Mother Monster five times. Does that mean she'll swing by for a lecture sometime? "I will get the word out to her that I'm doing the course," he said when asked if he'd like her to drop in. "But it might be logistically too difficult for her to come because she will be on tour for most of the spring semester."
Gaga joins a venerable list of courses that will likely elicit a call from parents asking just what their money is going toward, including Georgetown University's "Philosophy and Star Trek," the University of California-Irvine's "The Science of Superheroes," Frostburg State University's "The Science of Harry Potter" and University of California-Berkeley's "Simpsons and Philosophy."
What do you think of a university teaching a course on Gaga? Tell us your thoughts in the comments!

Alicia Keys has proven to be as selfless in real life as she is in song.
The singer held her 8th annual Keep a Child Alive Black Ball event in New York on Thursday night. The fundraiser brought out Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Usher, Jay Sean, Janelle Monae, Jennifer Hudson, Whitney Houston and more.
Jay-Z and Keys' husband, Swizz Beatz, performed "On to the Next One," and Jay later performed "Empire State of Mind." Monae also hit the stage, as did Keys and Sade, who performed a duet, "Love Is Stronger Than Pride."
"It's my heart and soul," Keys told MTV News about the organization she co-founded. "Since the beginning, we've been very driven to do incredible work. I'm proud to show what four to five women who are very dedicated can do."
The organization benefits children and families who have been affected by AIDS but can't afford to purchase medicine; the event reportedly helped raise $2.4 million.
This year, Keep a Child Alive introduced the "Buy Life" T-shirt. The shirt features a large barcode on the garment; donors can buy the shirt and scan the code with their smart phones to make a donation to the charity. Every time the code is scanned by a phone, a donation goes through. Ryan Seacrest, Kim Kardashian and Katie Holmes are among the celebrity spokespeople appearing in ads for the shirt.
"It's like a dream to me to be among these people singing and performing, and opening people's eyes to what Keep a Child Alive can do," Keys said.

Footage for his upcoming 3-D movie was shot at Madison Square Garden concert.

Right up until Justin Bieber took the stage at New York's Madison Square Garden, it was an almost typical stop on the My World Tour, complete with hype man and opening sets from Jessica Jarrell and Sean Kingston, who stepped up his game and brought out Iyaz.
But once Bieber, who was using his New York stop to film the concert footage for his 3-D movie, hit the stage, it was on, and the crowd's screams reached a deafening pitch. Dressed in his white and purple tour regalia, he kicked off the show with "Love Me," complete with karate-friendly dance moves. Any signs that Bieber had fallen ill only two days before weren't remotely evident. He turned his swag on for "Bigger" and for the cameras filming the show for his upcoming film.
"What's up, New York City? Welcome to my world. We are gonna have a lot of fun tonight. I got a lot of surprises in store for you guys!" he told the crowd before going straight into the fan favorite "U Smile," the next single he's expected to release. The catch: He was joined by Boyz II Men for the Motown-flavored track. "Boyz II Men sing it," he told the legendary R&B act before exchanging high fives. "These people are the ones who made me want to start singing." And then the group performed their tune "On Bended Knee," which they dedicated to Bieber's mom.
Bieber reclaimed the show with his song "Runaway Love," with no Kanye West or Raekwon in sight. "New York City, are you ready to have some fun? I'm filming good. We're shooting the movie," he told the crowd before getting into his heart cage and flying over the audience for "Never Let You Go" and "Favorite Girl," all while playing the guitar.
"You know, I guess I was right. There are a lot of people in here!" he proclaimed before bringing a girl onto the stage for "One Less Lonely Girl."
Bieber was then ready to bring out the big guns. Usher would be the next special guest of the night, setting the party off during Bieber's rendition of "Somebody to Love," giving the pop sensation a big hug before leaving the stage.
But Usher was only the first of the super superstars. Teen queen and 3-D movie vet Miley Cyrus then joined Bieber onstage as he slowed things down a bit for "Overboard." "I got to tell you something," Bieber said. "My motto to live by, there's gonna be times in your life when people tell you you can't do something. This is what I tell 'em: 'Never Say Never.' " And as rumored, Jaden Smith took the stage to rap his heart out to one very excited crowd during the track.
Left alone again, during "Up" Bieber flew over the stage in a cage and every girl went nuts. And after the crowd was reminded to make some noise, Bieber showed his fans how much he loves them by singing "One Time" followed by "That Should Be Me."
"It's gonna get crazy in here! You ready to get crazy?" he asked the crowd, which pretty much had been getting crazy all night. Then Sean Kingston hit the stage with Biebs for their collabo, "Eenie Meenie."
Soon the crowd was instructed to light up the room by waving their cell phones while Bieber sang "Down to Earth," during which he played a white baby-grand piano. Blowing kisses to the crowd, he departed the stage before his encore.
"I heard you screaming, so I thought I'd come back out here. I want to thank everyone. Madison Square Garden is a big deal for me ... and I'm really blessed," he said. "So I want to say thank you! Anyways, let's do another song!"
He closed out the night with his megahit "Baby" and was joined by Ludacris and lots of fireworks. The MSG show proved that when Bieber asks you to show up for his massively fun 3-D movie taping, you show up.

When Dr. Dre surprised the crowd at Eminem and Jay-Z's historic first Home and Home Tour stop in Detroit, fans greeted the elusive rap king with epic chants of "Detox!" after he spit memorable bars from his last LP, The Chronic 2001. During a recent sit-down, Dre said the warm response motivated the beatmaster to hit the lab and get his much-anticipated and long-delayed follow-up into the hands of those screaming fans.
"Being on the stage with Eminem and Jay-Z was one of the most incredible feelings I've felt in a long time. It inspired me, it made me want to hurry up and get back in the studio and put more effort and more work into my own project," Dre told MTV2's "Sucker Free" on Wednesday during an event for his latest successful venture, Beats by Dre.
The much-lauded producer said rocking the stage with his protégé-turned-pop phenomenon, Eminem, and his "Under Pressure" collaborator, Jay-Z, validated his current efforts and demonstrated that more than 10 years into the wait for Detox, hip-hop heads are still hungry for more Dre-helmed bangers.
"The response from the people out there was just incredible," Dre said. "It let me know that I still got love out there and I'm not wasting my time in the studio with what I'm doing, with the music or with all the Beats product that we're putting out."
After stacking hip-hop hits for decades, nurturing the careers of superstar MCs such as Snoop Dogg, Em and 50 Cent, releasing two almost undeniably classic solo efforts, 2001 and 1992's The Chronic, and shaping the way the latest generation of rap lovers hears music with his Beats by Dre headphones, the Doc has crafted a game-changing legacy. Even boasting that singular résumé, the deafening shouts from die-hard Dre acolytes still excite the rap icon.
"I can't explain it," he said. "It's an incredible feeling. It's not something that can be bought. You have to earn it, and it just made me feel just amazing."
What do you think Dr. Dre's Detox will sound like? Sound off in the comments!
